WELCOME

Hello my fellow under-agers. I'm sure you have all noticed, Westminster is not the "most happening" city. There is always our favorite bars Ernie s , Down Under & Rafael's. But unless you are 21 or have a decent fake, forget about it. But do not fret, I myself have gotten rejected at Down Under enough times...believe me, I feel your pain. Lucky for all of us though, less than 30 minutes from here is Baltimore, with an infinite amount of clubs, concerts and events waiting for you enjoy and you can find out about all the hottest Baltimore Spots for the under 21 crowd here at *Be More BALTIMORE*!!!

How to Catch a Cab in Baltimore

1.) Determine if you are in a cab populated section of Baltimore. The downtown area has a large number of cabs and you can see them moving up and down the streets. As you move away from the downtown area, cabs are harder to find.

2.)Stand on the curb in a cab populated area, hold your hand up in the air and flag down a cab by facing the direction of traffic.

IN A NON-CAB POPULATED AREA...

3.)Call the local cab company to request a cab

4.)Give the cab company your pick up location.

WHEN THE CAB ARRIVES...

5.)Give the driver the address of your destination.

6.) Pay the driver the full amount of your fare upon arriving at your destination. Tip the driver 15 percent of the cab fare.

*Visit www.taxifarefinder.com/main.php?city=Baltimore to get an estimated price for your cab fare*

7.)Request a receipt for your cab ride.

Safety Tips

While its fine to party hard---its important to also party responsibly! This may be your first night out experience, so be responsible. Below are just a few safety tips to make sure your night is as successful as possible:

1. Always have your phone on you & make sure you have the phone numbers of all those partying with you

2. Maintain the buddy system. Always have at least one friend with you at all times, two if possible

3. Make solid transportation arrangements and stick with them. If anyone is driving, make sure there is a designated driver! Do not drink and drive and dont go behind the wheel intoxicated either!

4. Do not accept drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) that you did not see made from others you do not trust.

5. Never leave your drink unattended or turn your back on your table.

6. Keep your eyes and ears open; if there is talk of date rape drugs or if friends seem "too intoxicated" for what they have taken, leave the party or club immediately w your posse and don't go back!

7. Don't go home with strangers!! Leave with the people you came with. You'll be much safer this way and you'll be happy you did in the morning.

8. Make sure friends/ family know which spots you will be attending

9. HAVE FUN!
